Conflict Resolution Training:

Sadly, according to NICE research, the caring profession still bears the brunt of both verbal and physical abuse. Despite this things have improved. Brooks Jordan has been providing personal safety and conflict resolution training to NHS staff since 1994.
During the early years Brooks Jordan was able to secure sponsorship from most of the leading pharmaceutical companies enabling us to provide free training to a wide section of health care professionals throughout the UK.

Recognising the impact of assaults against NHS staff, the NHS Zero tolerance of violence programme was introduced by the government in 1999 and in 2004 a national syllabus for conflict resolution training introduced.

Brooks Jordan were there at the outset and five of the company’s trainers attended the NHS Conflict Resolution familiarisation seminars in 2004 and received the necessary certification enabling them to deliver the NHS National Conflict Resolution training course.

We have been heavily involved in training for the medical sector both private and NHS since that time and now offer a range of programmes designed specifically to meet NHS Protect syllabus requirements for frontline staff generally and also a range of other courses from Managing Employment matters to training on the new General Data Protection Regulations for both staff and Practice Managers employed in general practice. For more information see the following link providing a brief overview of training for general practice.
